Therapy for Self Worth
IN DENVER, COLORADO & ONLINE ACROSS FLORIDA
You wake up, get ready for the day ahead of you, and right before you leave the front door, you grab the mask that shows the world that you are invincible... fake it till you make it, right?
Maybe someone along the way made you feel so unworthy that you now believe you won't ever feel happy about yourself again. Perhaps, you grew up in a household that was absent of compassion and praise, and now its hard to believe that you are doing enough. Maybe you were surrounded by people who spoke so poorly of you... that you started to believe the words. Enough is enough.
Are you ready to deeply see your value and worth?
Self-worth is not all about affirmations…
Self-worth is more than just layering on the self-care exercises or building self-confidence. Self-worth is the embodiment of you. Do you show love, kindness, or compassion for yourself? Do you develop healthy boundaries with others, feel that you deserve to be treated fairly and respectfully? Your value of self is not determined by others... but within.
I can throw all the affirmations and self-care activities towards you... but would you feel worthy of implementing them? Rather than just trying to coat yourself with all the lotions and cucumbers, lets go to the core and rebuild our foundation of self.
Together, we will rewrite the story. We will untangle the negative beliefs that you have held onto along the way. Piece by piece, your true self will be put back together. The version of the worthy you.
you are capable… you are worthy… you are resilient

FAQ’s on Therapy for Self-worth
-
Self-esteem is what we think and feel and believe about ourselves. Self-worth is recognizing "I am greater than all of those things." It is a deep knowing that I am of value, that I am lovable, necessary to this life, and of incomprehensible worth.
Self-worth is at the core of our very selves—our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are intimately tied into how we view our worthiness and value as human beings.

We take a look at who you are and what you want in your life. We build on self acceptance, and pay attention to the tone you use with yourself. Once you understand, accept, and love yourself, you will reach a point where you no longer depend on people, accomplishments, or other external factors for your self-worth. Together in therapy, I take approaches from positive psychology, acceptance and commitment therapy. For clients who wish to dig deeper, I often use EMDR to explore and uncover the root of their low self - worth and the negative thinking patterns they have developed based on past experiences.
